Hot Start Continues for Shredders
Despite a great performance by Kingston Township third baseman Scott Robertson, the Hollywood Shredders defeated the Knights by the score of 9-4 at Cloverdale Legion Park. Robertson slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Hollywood, at 5-1, is off to a blistering start.

The Knights had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Shredders going into the top of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 2030 Newcomer of the Year Award winner Derek Bangert came to the plate. Bangert hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 changeup from Kingston Township hurler Pete Rhue. It was Bangert's 5th double of the year.

"I like how we're playing right now," said Bangert.
