1837 BBC Stumble, Lose to Rainbow Mermaids
Northern Virginia starter Chris Holland had a strong outing against the Houston 1837 BBC at Atlantica. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-4 win. Brewster Warble notched his 26th save in 32 chances. The Rainbow Mermaids bumped their record to 71-37 with this latest triumph.

Roberto Salazar, the Northern Virginia right fielder, contributed a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 4-3, Rainbow Mermaids. For the game, Salazar went 2 for 4 with a triple and a double.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager David Lister said.
