Multi-HR Game for Burton in 7-3 Win
|
It was a good time at Nashville Stadium, where fans came to watch the San Mateo Dirty Reds and Nashville Outlaws get after it.
A 4-RBI performance from Tom Burton, who is on pace for 75 RBI this season, helped the Nashville Outlaws beat the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 7-3. After today's action, Nashville sits at 55-47, while San Mateo falls to 54-48.
Burton put Nashville up, 4-0, when he hit a 2-run home run off Juan Moreno in the bottom of the third. His 16th home run of the season helped the Outlaws capture the win.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Burton. "And not try to do too much."
