Hicksville Captures Wild Card Monday, September 8th, 2036 The Hicksville Hounds have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Hounds battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said right fielder Juan Núñez. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 60-37, the Hounds will try to build on their success to win the 2nd M3L Rookie championship in team history. |
