Menard's R Won: Greenport Crowned Wednesday, September 3rd, 2036 The champagne was flowing in the Greenport Harbor Whales clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the Menard's R. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Brody Roberts. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 63-29 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st 3L R Championship championship. Catcher Alexis Hines said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 1st division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
