Premier R Champs Crowned: Long Island Ducks Monday, August 25th, 2036 There's still a ways to go before the USPL Rookie regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the Premier R. The Long Island Ducks have easily clinched the division crown, their 1st as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said closer Phil Soto. Team manager Luis Díaz said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he's looking forward to the postseason, where Long Island will be looking for its 1st USPL Rookie championship. |
