Red-Hot Booty Scorches Cougars Saturday, July 14th, 2035 Snowpeople right fielder General Booty had his way with Valley View pitching today at Corpus Christi Grounds and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Cougars ruined his great day by toppling the Snowpeople, 12-5. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Valley View credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Booty did today," Cougars skipper Will Thomas said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." General Booty hit a two-run home run off Jonas Wisse in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
