Myers Suspended, Out 2 Games Wednesday, July 30th, 2036 Clay Myers of the Memphis Music has been suspended 2 games by the league for his prolonged argument with the home plate umpire during the game with Surprise at ïAbbots Ballpark. The 18-year-old shortstop angrily protested being called out on strikes and wouldn't leave the field after his ejection. It took two coaches and his manager to physically remove the hostile Myers from the field. So far this season Myers has put up a .243 batting average with 55 hits, no home runs and 16 RBIs. |
