PR Honors Player of the Week Monday, July 28th, 2036 Jerry Williams seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 19-year-old hurler was chosen the USPL Rookie Player of the Week Award. Williams notched 2 wins for the Ogallala Octopi. He finished the week with 7 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.73 while holding the opposition to a .308 average. In 12 starts this season Williams has chalked up a 5-7 record and a 5.27 ERA. |
