Colombo Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 14th, 2036 Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the USPL Rookie Player of the Week Award just like Luigino Colombo. He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .444 average to take home the trophy. The Ellesmere Island center fielder went 8-for-18, drove in 3 runs, scored 6 times and hit 1 home run. For the season Colombo is hitting .255, batted in 25 runs with 4 home runs and 22 runs scored. |
