Hits Galore: Willoughby Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, June 4th, 2036 It seemed that Atlantic City third baseman John Willoughby could do no wrong as the Sonics KO'd the Love Boats, 11-1 today. Willoughby rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Love Boats hurlers were throwing. "I think the Sonics were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Lake Minnetonka fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Willoughby in the postgame press interview. John Willoughby singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
