PAA Names Best Player Monday, July 21st, 2036 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Double A, but last week Stephen Goldobenko of the San Bernardino Grasshoppers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Goldobenko rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Goldobenko is batting .358 with 24 hits, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs, .413 OBP and has scored 10 runs. |
