Streak Finally Over, Dudzinski Held Hitless
Thursday, July 3rd, 2036
Northville designated hitter Raymond Dudzinski experienced something against the Minnesota Loons he hadn't experienced a while: a hitless game.

The Loons pitching corps quieted his hot bat and snapped his streak at 20 games, but his teammates picked up the slack to lead the Eclipse to a 5-4 victory at Old-Timers Park.

"Hey, ain't nothin' bad about a losing a 20-game hitting streak," Dudzinski joked with reporters after the game. "Now you guys will have to find someone else to bother for stories."

This year Dudzinski is batting .256 with 6 home runs. He has scored 24 runs and driven in 28.
