Chesapeake's Martínez Top Pitcher in September Wednesday, October 1st, 2036 António Martínez took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the USSL Double A Pitcher of the Month award for September. The 25-year-old Continentals starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 2-0 won-lost record in 3 starts. This month he fanned 14 batters in 20.2 innings and compiled a 0.44 ERA. Lifetime Martínez has chalked up 11 wins and 12 losses and compiled a 4.66 ERA. |
