Fisher's Season Could be Over
Thursday, September 4th, 2036
The season is finished for Joe Fisher of the Belvedere Park Rawhides. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Rawhides reliever suffered radial nerve compression while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Biloxi Shuckers. Team doctors said it would take at least 9 months to heal.

For the year Fisher has collected 7 saves in 18 relief appearances. He has also notched 13 strikeouts and 7 walks in 18 innings while registering a 3.00 ERA and a 2-1 won-lost record.
