SAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Ito Monday, September 1st, 2036 So far in his young career, Senichi Ito has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Yakima Hops right fielder hit at a torrid .438 clip as he collected 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This year Ito is hitting .301 with 9 home runs. |
