Pacheco Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, August 25th, 2036 Alfonso Pacheco of the Lancaster Farmers extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 1 hit in today's 11-8 triumph over the Biloxi Shuckers at Farmers Field. "Alfonso has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Farmers manager Luis Barroco joked after the game. Alfonso Pacheco grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th and walked in the 6th. On the year Pacheco has hit .284 with 1 home run, 45 RBIs and scored 39 runs. |
