Week's Best Player: Marquette's Serano Monday, August 25th, 2036 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Pedro Serano of the Marquette Miners reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Serano rocked opposing pitching for a .520 average (13-for-25), 1 home run and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Serano is hitting .295 with 13 home runs and 54 RBIs. He has played in 73 games and scored 47 times. |
