Visscher Bags SAA Best Player Award Monday, August 18th, 2036 One of the league's most exciting young players, Philip Visscher of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks earned himself USSL Double A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 19-year-old first baseman had a lofty .529 average (9-for-17), collecting 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Visscher is hitting .345, produced 50 RBIs and 22 home runs, scored 39 times and gotten on base at a .418 rate. |
