M3L Double A Top Player Is Burt Sunday, October 12th, 2036 Brian Burt took M3L Double A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26. For his spectacular campaign, the Bethesda Atoms star has been named the 2036 M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman. On the season he compiled a .338 batting average to go with a .413 on-base percentage. The native of Glendale, Arizona also added 30 doubles, no triples, 20 home runs, 98 RBIs and 86 runs scored. He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Wilton Banks of the Athletic Club KC Academy finished second in voting, while Thierry Honoré of the Bethesda Atoms finished third.
