Season Ends for Damian Alldred of Phoenix Hotspur Saturday, September 13th, 2036 The doctors have spoken and Damian Alldred of the Phoenix Hotspur Youth didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old shortstop is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Alldred sustained his season-ending injury during the Athletic Club KC Academy game yesterday at Grenadiers Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Phoenix Hotspur medical staff reported Alldred had a torn meniscus and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4-5 months. So far this year, Alldred is batting .258 with 1 home run and 23 RBIs. |
