Rails Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 7th, 2036 The Richland Rails quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2036. "It feels bad," said Rails starting pitcher Hirohisa Niiya, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." The Rails have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 21 years as a M3L Double A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2028. In the last 10 seasons, the Rails have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
