3AA Top Pitcher for August Picked Monday, September 1st, 2036 In August, Rook Ellington tore through the M3L Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Phoenix Hotspur starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 1.29 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 42 innings he collected 37 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .174 average. This year Ellington has compiled a 5-6 mark with a 3.61 ERA in 13 starts. |
