Athletic Club KC Academy's Ricks 3AA Star of the Week Monday, July 28th, 2036 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Double A, but last week John Ricks of the Athletic Club KC Academy reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ricks rocked opposing pitching for a .571 average (8-for-14), no home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. Ricks currently has a .265 batting average with 68 hits, 9 homers, 39 RBIs, 44 runs scored and a .353 OBP. |
