Rusty Swanson Injured, Out for Season Saturday, June 21st, 2036 The season is apparently over for Rusty Swanson. The Vermont Lake Monsters medical staff informed the club that the closer will be out at least 9 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Swanson was hurt in the game against Jersey City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far this season, Swanson has put up these stats: 7 relief appearances, no saves, 27.2 IP, 21 strikeouts, and 7.48 ERA. His won-lost record is 2-2, and the opposition is hitting .276 against him. |
