SAAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 8th, 2036 At the age of 28, Carlos Rúbio might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Jersey City left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .444 batting average. For his efforts Rúbio collected the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs and 15 RBIs last week in 6 games. This season Rúbio is swinging the bat at a .309 pace.
