Fighting Dachsunds Mathematically Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 19th, 2036 Shawn Stevenson said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds after they missed the USSL Triple A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Ellenburg last appeared in the postseason in 2031. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Fighting Dachsunds have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
