Samurakami Takes This Week's Trophy Monday, August 4th, 2036 Ieyoshi Samurakami burst onto the USSL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Sunset District garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 26-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .480 (12-for-25) with 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week. This season Samurakami has hit at a .391 clip with 11 RBIs, 4 home runs and 12 runs scored.
