Week's Best Player Honored by SAAA Monday, July 21st, 2036 The top batter in the USSL Triple A last week was Carlos Rúbio, who batted .520 and towered above everybody with a 6-game hitting barrage. During the week Rúbio banged out a .520 batting average (13-for-25), 2 home runs, 4 runs batted in and scored 5 runs. Today the Jersey City left fielder received the SAAA Player of the Week Award. This season Rúbio has hit at a .323 clip and produced 31 RBI, 11 home runs and 38 runs. |
