PAAA Player of the Week, Bruno of Scranton Monday, June 23rd, 2036 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Scranton first baseman Felipe Bruno. He went on a rampage last week against PAAA hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 24 at-bats for a .458 average while hitting 3 home runs, driving in 8 runs and scoring 5 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the USPL Triple A Player of the Week trophy. Bruno was honored today at a press conference. So far this year Bruno has hit .185 with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
