Meléndez Belts 5 Hits Saturday, June 21st, 2036 The Bakersfield Nobles upended the Florida Men at Psychos Ballpark today, thanks in large part to center fielder John Meléndez, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Nobles to a 9-6 victory. John Meléndez singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Geoffroy Cadaloba in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
