Bakersfield's Abresch Elbows His Way to PAAA Award

The Bakersfield clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Ingo Abresch will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2036 USPL Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award.

Abresch made 19 starts this year, winning 10 and losing 3. He threw 127 innings, fanned 79, allowed 94 hits and 40 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .205 average as he logged an impressive 2.27 ERA.

He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Ángel Flores of the Calgary Lynx finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Manuel Paílla of the Pawnee ParksNRec finished third.
