Diéguez Wins PAAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 11th, 2036 So far in his young career, Manny Diéguez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USPL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Bloomington Longnecks third baseman hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats, no home runs, 6 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far on the season Diéguez is hitting .326 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 42 hits and played in 43 games. |
