Disaster Reliever Cops Pitching Award Friday, August 1st, 2036 Jerry Kumpf was the anchor in the Port Royal bullpen last month and snatched up the USPL Triple A Pitcher of the Month honors for July. The 27-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 37.2 innings over no relief appearances and collected a 5-0 record with 27 strikeouts and no saves while etching his 2.63 ERA. Kumpf has earned no saves and a 6-5 mark this season with a 3.02 earned run average in no relief appearances. He has worked 104.1 innings, yielded 85 hits, struck out 77 batters and walked 30. |
