M3L Triple A Announces #1 Player Monday, August 18th, 2036 So far in his young career, Gene Ricks has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Athletic Club KC Reserves center fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 8 hits in 16 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Ricks has compiled a .328 batting average in 80 games with a .406 on-base percentage, while hitting 26 home runs and driving in 71 runs. |
