Rincón and Calderón Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, August 9th, 2036 If there wasn't a history between Fernando Rincón of Tortolita and Ismael Calderón of Athletic Club KC, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Rincón said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Thus far this year Rincón has hit .305 with 5 home runs and 38 RBIs. This season Calderón has compiled a 2-5 record with a 6.19 ERA. |
