3L Trophy Goes to Dante of Brooklyn Monday, May 26th, 2036 Not every ball that came off Count Dante's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Brooklyn Dodgers. For his exploits, Dante was named this week's Menard's Third League Player of the Week award. The Brooklyn center fielder put up 10 hits in 19 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .526 with 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 10 games this season Dante has compiled a .359 batting average with 14 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 6 times and knocked in 9 runs. |
