The Buffalo second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 37. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Bortenschlager told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Max Bortenschlager flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Wop Baars in the 7th. So far this year Bortenschlager is batting .329 with 12 home runs, 65 RBIs and 57 runs scored. |
