It was catcher Jerry Yates, who put up a league best .373 batting average, capturing the 2036 United States Silver League batting title. The 28-year-old 131 hits, 31 doubles, no triples and 15 home runs for the year. In 93 games Yates totaled 65 RBIs and scored 63 runs. |
