Win Gives Guillén All-Time SL Record Saturday, September 6th, 2036 Juan Guillén has set the baseball world aglow with victory number 90 of his storied career. The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC superstar recorded the record-breaking win at Great Northern Field today to snap the all-time mark previously held by the legendary Bartolomeu Lio. Speaking at a press conference after the historic game, Guillén said "number 90 was in a class by itself." "I want to thank all of my fleet-footed outfielders for making this day possible," he said with a smile. "Without them I wouldn't be here today." In 21 starts this season Guillén has gathered 8 wins while suffering 5 losses. He has pitched 127 innings, allowed 122 hits, struck out 138 and has a 3.54 ERA. |
