Ariza Nabs SA #1 Pitcher Award Sunday, June 1st, 2036 In May, Javier Ariza tore through the USSL Single A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Chicago starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.45 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 37.1 innings he collected 49 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .174 average. |
