Higuchi Pitches Reefers to Shutout Victory Monday, May 26th, 2036 In an outstanding mound performance, Cape Coral Reefers starter Kazuhiko Higuchi fired a complete-game shutout against the Chicago Gold Sox at Little Gold Sox Park today. Higuchi was the key to the Reefers's 9-0 win. The 22-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 6 hits and 1 walk he allowed.
