The 21-year-old Airmen star fashioned a 8-2 won-loss record in 2036 with a 1.39 ERA. In 84.1 innings of work and 14 starts, Ortíz struck out 137 while giving up 60 hits and 22 walks. He held opposing batters to a .199 average. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner.
