Vanden Boom Drops Baseball to Play Basketball Friday, September 19th, 2036 Cape Coral multi-sport star Danny Vanden Boom has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his basketball career. Despite his love of baseball, Vanden Boom says he likes his prospects on the hardwood better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Reefers starting pitcher. Vanden Boom, considered to be a standout shooting guard, is projected as a late 1st or 2nd round pick in the upcoming pro basketball draft. |
