SA's Best Player is Ruíz Monday, August 18th, 2036 Youth was served last week as 21-year-old Máximo Ruíz put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USSL Single A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks hurler rang up 10 strikeouts in 6 innings, compiling an ERA of 3.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. This year Ruíz has worked 56.1 innings with 95 strikeouts en route to a 5-3 record and 4.47 ERA. |
