Gold Sox Sipple Gone for Year
Monday, July 21st, 2036
When Billy Sipple was hurt against the Tennessee Smokies, the Chicago Gold Sox were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 24-year-old reliever suffered a torn labrum throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Sipple would miss 5 months of the season.

This season he has made 35 relief appearances with 3 saves. In 66.1 innings Sipple has chalked up 75 strikeouts while posting a 3-0 record and a 1.90 ERA
