McBride on Fire, 5-for-8 Against Mt. Vernon Wednesday, May 28th, 2036 Albert McBride of the Eugene Vandals outhit everybody on the field today at The Riot Zone, but it was all for naught. Even as McBride personally tore up the Mt. Vernon Bulls with a 5-for-8 day, the Bulls were sending his Vandals down to a 7-4 defeat. Albert McBride doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, hit a two-run home run off Tuna Altuna in the 11th, singled in the 14th, grounded out in the 16th, flied out in the 18th and grounded out in the 21st.
