Gobbles-Rooster Hits in 20 Straight Games Sunday, July 13th, 2036 Meester Gobbles-Rooster, third baseman for the Kennesaw Jets, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 13-0 victory today over the Athletic Club KC U-24 at ACKC Youth Field today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Athletic Club KC manager Jamie Randall said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Meester Gobbles-Rooster struck out in the 1st, hit a sac fly in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Indigo Diaz in the 9th. So far this season Gobbles-Rooster has 13 home runs and a .333 batting average. |
