Year Ends for Kalikiano Keiki in Athletic Club KC Saturday, July 5th, 2036 The doctors have spoken and Kalikiano Keiki of the Athletic Club KC U-24 didn't like what he heard. The 20-year-old shortstop is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Keiki sustained his season-ending injury during the Lake Erie Arryns game yesterday at Arryns Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Athletic Club KC medical staff reported Keiki had a torn anterior cruciate ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months. So far in 2036 Keiki is batting .289 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 114 at-bats and a .325 OBP. |
