Coeur Come up Short of Playoffs Saturday, September 27th, 2036 St. Louis Coeur reliever Brian Guilbert said it is a "bitter disappointment" for he and his teammates to miss the playoffs. The remarks came hours after the club was mathematically eliminated from 2036 postseason contention. St. Louis last appeared in the postseason in 2014. This is their 22nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 23-year history. |
